Privately nestled high atop a hill in the historic village of Granville and overlooking the Granville golf course, the DRVCA is a neighborhood of 25 unique homes bound together by a common architecture and a robust, caring community spirit.
Our neighbors contribute a wealth of knowledge and service toward beautification and sustainability of the condo lifestyle we enjoy. A stroll down Donald Ross Drive reveals abundant evidence of community involvement through the enhancements made by past residents: the spring daffodils on the hillside planted by Jean Kerle, former owner of #21, the flowering weeping cherry tree lovingly planted as a sapling and babied through two severe winters by JoAnn Campisano, formerly of #61, and the wonderful Little Library contributed from former owners of #23 Trish and Phil Koons, to name just a few.
This legacy of community generosity lives in the Green Team , started by Bob Elfreich #35, comprised of residents who volunteer to maintain our lovely wooded common areas and who have a knack for combining service with a good time outdoors.
Through the efforts of Julie Hopson #57, Carol Bradley #47, and Bobbie Falquet formerly of #41 a monthly social event began, neighbors taking turns hosting monthly TGIF socials where we relax together and share our diverse backgrounds and interests. Admirably Trump Bradley #47 took the lead, and continues today, to gather and update resident's contact information so that we can be connected through the use of the directory and email correspondence.
We are a self-governing association committed to best practices in our condominium governance and ethics, and to shared responsibility, mutual respect and transparency in all of our business affairs. Our volunteer board of directors provide prudent stewardship of our resources and ensure the long-term maintenance of our common areas. Toward that end we have an up-to-date comprehensive financial reserve plan, a prior plan replaced the roofs, and unit owners are updated on the board's work through monthly minutes and year-end review at the annual owner business meeting.
Our community enjoys professional management of our common property, with a focus on outstanding communications with individual unit owners, respect and fairness to all, and accountability to the board of directors.
